Differential/Transfer

Although servicing these items is not as common, it's not to be forgotten. Transfer cases and differentials are not exposed to the extreme temperatures as the engine or transmission. However, servicing these units every 100,000 km’s would be a good rule of thumb. Servicing is basically draining and refilling with new fluid.
