Noel Koehn, Owner noel@newportauto.ca
Noel has been in the automotive business since 1985. He completed his pre-apprenticeship at the University College of the Fraser Valley in 1987. He completed his apprenticeship with Specialty Engineering in November 1993, earning his federal licensed red seal.
Noel has completed numerous courses to ensure he is up to date on the latest technology and innovation. He is also renowned as a rally and racecar engineer and sought out for his Datsun knowledge.

Newport Auto is please to welcome Shaun to the team. Shaun is a resident of Squamish with over twenty years experience in the automotive business.
Simon Breeze, Service Manager simon@newportauto.ca
 Simon grew up mainly in Calgary, Alberta. He has been a vehicle enthusiast since high school and enjoys learning about new vehicle technology. Early in his career he worked for GM, Chrysler, Ford and Honda, as well as 3 independent repair facilities. He has taken training courses at all of them. In 2004 he graduated from SAIT with a diploma in Computer Engineering Technology. In 2006 he decided that –40 degrees in the prairies was too cold and moved out to British Columbia, first in Whistler, then Pemberton and now in Squamish. He enjoys staying active by biking, playing hockey and trail running.
Richard Lynch, Service Advisor
Richard has a lifetime of customer service experience and certificates in both accounting and automotive service advising. He has been in the automotive service industry since 2002 and with Newport Auto since 2004. A lifelong vehicle enthusiast he bought his first car when he was 11 and is constantly studying new developments in the automotive and motorcycle industries. As service advisor Richard enjoys assisting customers in making informed decisions to maintain and repair their vehicles and understands the importance of reliable transportation. In his spare time he can be found mountain biking, climbing or traveling the world. As of September 1, 2011 Richard is on a temporary leave of absence to go travelling.
Peter Hedgecock, Licensed Auto Mechanical Technician
Peter is a good mechanic particularly on electrical stuff. He is a car enthusiast particularly Datsun 510s.
Cris Simpson, Licensed Automotive Mechanical Technician
 Cris is a good all round mechanic with Ford dealership experience. He also has small engine, motorcycle, snowmobile and marine experience providing Newport’s specialty customer services.
Erik Hansen, Licensed Auto Mechanical Technician
 Newport Auto Inc is pleased to welcome Erik to our team of Interprovincial Red Seal Technicians. Erik enjoys the outdoors, particularly snowboarding and skiing and has worked as a canoeing instructor and youth counselor. He is bilingual in English and French.
